Jacqueline GaymonMs. Jackie started working with Beam One in 2011 as a Summer Youth. She officially became a group leader in 2016. Aspira has not only been a second home to her, but also a safe haven. She’s learned many things which has allowed her to develop her personal and professional skills every day. Ms. Jackie always has creative ideas and you can see her passion in everything she does.

Sabrina TavarezMs. Sabrina has been working with Beam One as one of the eighth grade group leaders. She is currently studying Criminal Justice in college. Her favorite thing to do is teach leadership because she believes that children should learn certain life skills in order to succeed in the future. She also really enjoys being active with the kids and playing sports with them; especially volleyball.

Shawntel WoodMs. Shawntel has been working with us for three years as the fifth grade group leader. She has been a part of our family for 7 years, since she was a junior camp counselor through Summer Youth. She graduated from Hostos Community College with an Associates degree in Liberal Arts; and her favorite thing to do is teach English. Ms. Shawntel strives to push our company forward by bringing her creative, and engaging ideas to the table for the best of our students.

Mackey BrownMr. Mackey has been a part of the Aspira family for 5 years. He works as a physical education specialist, and enjoys the overall instruction of sport. He loves letting participants have the opportunity to grow through physical activity. Mr. Mackey is a strong believer in our program and the community we serve. He strives to keep doing the work he has the most passion for, and will continue to invest and support in our community by giving his attention to the youth and strengthening them through sports.

Lily GarciaMs. Lilly has been working with Beam One for over 7 years. She has an Associates degree in Criminal Justice and Science. She is one of our physical education specialists, and also a great basketball player and coach. Her favorite thing to teach is anything related to physical and mental well-being. Ms. Lilly strives to push the community forward by teaching the youth how to have a positive mindset and how to stay aligned with one’s goals.
